Server logs

The web-hosting company records standard request information (IP address, user-agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security, abuse-prevention, and operational diagnostics. These logs fall under the web-hosting company’s policies. They aren’t used by us for advertising or profiling.

Analytics

fenkro uses PostHog, hosted in the EU, to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly which country visitors are in (estimated from IP address), and how features are used — for example what is searched for. Our analytics stores nothing in your browser — no cookies and no local storage — and uses no identifier that persists between visits, so it cannot recognise you when you return or build up a profile of you over time.

To help us fix problems, we also record technical details of any errors that occur in your browser while using fenkro.

Embedded YouTube content

fenkro embeds videos using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube does not set tracking cookies or collect usage data about you until you start playing a video; once you do, that activity is governed by YouTube’s privacy policy and we have no access to it.
